Truck Driver: Traffic Rush Privacy Policy
What Truck Driver collects — which, on the shipping Android build, is nothing.
This policy covers Truck Driver: Traffic Rush (cloud.buggygames.truckdriver).
Our other products have their own policies, because they embed different software —
see the studio policy for the full list.
Who we are
Truck Driver: Traffic Rush is made and published by Bugfinder Marek Misiak, trading as BuggyGames, an independent studio registered in Poland. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. Full trading details are on the imprint page.
What it collects
Truck Driver has no account of its own. You never give us a name, an email address or a password, and there is no ad SDK, no analytics SDK and nothing to buy.
Stored on your device
Everything the game remembers is written to local files and never leaves the phone:
profile.dat— coins earned and spent, the trucks you own, your selected truck, your best distance, close-call and mission totals, and your daily-reward streakhigh_scores.dat— your top five local scoresmissions.dat— the current daily and weekly missions, kept deliberately separate from your profileachievements.datandservices_queue.dat— achievement progress recorded locally, and anything waiting to be submitted if platform services are ever switched on- Sound, music and difficulty settings
We cannot read any of them, and uninstalling the game removes them.
No network access
The shipping Android build declares no INTERNET permission
(permissions/internet=false in export_presets.cfg). The game cannot open a network
connection, so nothing it stores can be sent anywhere — to us or to anyone else. There is
no cloud save, no leaderboard upload and no crash reporting in this version.
Google Play Games
The Play Games addon is compiled into the app but is switched off: sign-in returns
early before the plugin is initialised, and the missing internet permission would stop it
regardless. It collects nothing while it is in that state. If a future version turns it
on, this policy and the disclosure table below change with it — that is what the
source: file references are for.
Google Play itself
Installing anything from Google Play involves Google, not us. Play’s own handling of your download and your device is covered by Google’s privacy policy, and we receive only the aggregate, anonymous install and crash statistics the Play Console shows every developer.
Third-party services
We would rather show you the actual list than summarise it as a category. These are the services compiled into the shipping build, with the file we verified each one in:
What Truck Driver: Traffic Rush collects
| Service | What it collects | Why | Verified in |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Play Games Services | Nothing, while it is disabled. | Vendored into the build as an addon, but dormant — sign-in returns early before the plugin is ever initialised, and the Android build declares no INTERNET permission, so it could not reach Google even if it were switched on. | addons/GodotPlayGameServices/bin/release/GodotPlayGameServices-release.aar, scripts/managers/GooglePlayManager.gd, export_presets.cfg |
We use no other analytics product — no Firebase, no Crashlytics, no GameAnalytics — and we do not sell personal data.
Our legal basis
If you are in the EEA or the UK, we rely on your consent for advertising and attribution data, which you can withdraw at any time using the device controls below; on performance of a contract for cloud sync; and on our legitimate interest in keeping the product working and free from abuse.
Your rights and controls
The most direct control is on your own device. Reset or delete the advertising
identifier under Settings → Privacy → Ads on Android, or turn off
tracking under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on iOS,
which stops the identifier being shared at all.
Depending on where you live you may also ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to processing, and complain to your data protection authority. California residents may request disclosure of the categories collected and opt out of sharing.
Deleting your data
Truck Driver: Traffic Rush has no account, so most of your data disappears when you uninstall it. For everything else — cloud saves, and attribution data — the data deletion page gives the exact steps per platform. We action requests sent to us within 30 days.
Children
Truck Driver: Traffic Rush is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. See children's privacy for the full product-by-product breakdown.
